There’s something we really enjoy about recruiting for research in the tech and IT space. It’s not just the variety of projects (though trust us, we've seen everything from data centers HVAC needs to design software). It's the people behind the tech, their curiosity, the way they think, and the insights they bring when they sit down with a moderator.
We take our role in this important research seriously: finding the right people, with the right experience, who are ready to share something real and thoughtful in a research conversation. Brand competition is tight and there is no room for bad research.
And when it comes to the tech world, that challenge of a perfect respondent is one we genuinely enjoy. These participants, whether they are CIOs, developers, engineers, or everyday users, have a deep understanding of the tools they use. They are not just pressing buttons; they are thinking critically about why systems work (or don’t), how tools impact workflows, challenges they face, and where improvements could be made. That kind of perspective is gold in research.
We have recruited for studies on software platforms, hardware (including motherboards, processors, graphic cards and so on), cybersecurity, design tools, AI, on premise and cloud servers and all kinds of workplace tech. We’ve connected research teams with professionals who work in high-security environments like healthcare and banking. And yes, we’ve even found people to talk about cell phones, laptops, desktops, printers, smartboards and projectors, because work tools and peripherals are tech too!
What keeps us invested is knowing that good research depends on good participants. Our job is to make sure that when someone logs into a Zoom interview or sits down for a focus group, they are genuinely a great fit. That they are ready to talk, and that they help the research team walk away with something valuable.
While we are not the ones asking the really deep questions, we do love setting the stage for the tech conversations that matter. And when it comes to finding, screening and validating the tech audience, it’s a group we will never get tired of recruiting. Smart, insightful, often a little quirky in the best way. They make the work interesting every time.
If you are planning a study in this space, just know we’re already excited about it!
