I am still buzzing from my site visit to San Antonio.
In February 2026, the Annual QRCA Conference is heading down south and attendees are in for a treat! The second you step off the plane, the city greets you with vibrant murals and a culture that immediately pulls you in. I only had 48 hours to soak it all in, but it was more than enough to see how special this experience will be.
The Perfect Balance: Focus + Fun
Leaving the airport, it was just a quick 10-minute ride to the hotel. The setting is tucked away from the bustle of downtown, which I actually loved. During the conference, it means we can fully focus and be present in workshops, learning from sessions, networking with colleagues, and connecting with new partners in the marketplace.
When the day is done, San Antonio is just 20 minutes away. The downtown vibe is electric - welcoming, lively, and full of personality. From cultural tours to the Pearl District and the famous Riverwalk, the city is buzzing with energy ... it is a Qually’s dream for decompressing after a day of brain-filling insights.
Why It Matters for R+F
This year, I’m honored to serve as Lead Chair of the QRCA Conference. That means not only helping to shape an incredible event, but also making sure Recruit and Field is right there in the mix learning from industry colleagues, pushing ourselves forward, and bringing fresh insights back to our team. Our goal? Level up our Qual research game, together.
Looking Ahead
I was lucky enough to get just a small taste of San Antonio. Next time I’m back, it’ll be alongside so many brilliant minds in our industry. We’ll be thriving, growing, and upping our game in Qualitative research all while soaking in everything this vibrant city has to offer.
