Melissa Risolo, Accounting Manager
Melissa is Recruit and Field’s go-to behind the scenes girl – she heads up Accounting and HR. Melissa graduated from Nassau Community College with a degree in Liberal Arts.
When she was younger Melissa was pretty sure she was going to be Martha Stewart, as she is happiest when she’s baking – and if she could invent her own holiday, it would be called “Bakesgiving.”
Melissa also loves to transform vintage furniture into fresh, updated pieces.
Shak, Business Development and Marketing Assistant
Shak joined Recruit & Field, Inc. in 2021 as an Administrative Assistant to Project Managers. She describes herself as detail-oriented, organized, and always thinks outside the box.
Shak is a seasoned Virtual Executive Assistant with over 12 years in the field. She has extensive experience with all administrative tasks, including scheduling and correspondence. As the trend goes, she is also now engaging with social media marketing, graphic design, video editing, and website development.
In addition to her duties as an Administrative Assistant, Shak is also active in many organizations in her community. She loves to talk in front of crowds and hosts events. Shak loves traveling, cycling, riding motorcycles, and being a car enthusiast.
Her motto is “Work smarter, not harder.” She believes that having a clear strategy to prioritize your most important activities is vital, so you end each productive day feeling satisfied.
Annika, Administrative Assistant
Annika is a proud graduate of the University of the Philippines, where she earned her bachelor's degree in BS Management with a minor in Marketing, graduating Cum Laude. While juggling her studies, she jumped into the workforce and has since gained over three years of experience as a property manager and executive assistant.
Family is super important to her, and she’s on a mission to master the elusive work-life balance. When she’s not busy conquering the corporate world, you’ll find Annika traveling to new places and eating her way through different cuisines—she’s basically a professional foodie! She loves staying active, playing sports like soccer, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. And she’s a proud cat mom to six adorable furballs - she’s living the dream, surrounded by fur and chaos, which she insists is the best gig ever!!
Athenna, Administrative Assistant
Meet Athenna Marie Indolos—spelled with a double N and named after the Greek goddess Athena. Athenna graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor's degree in Management and a minor in Marketing.
With three years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, Athenna has collaborated with four different clients in roles such as customer service representative, front desk receptionist, social media manager, and article writer. She also served as an Executive Assistant, gaining expertise in report analysis and HubSpot CRM.
Outside of her professional life, Athenna is a devoted fur mom to a Chihuahua and a Shih Tzu, who bring immense joy to her life. She is a competitive swimmer and enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and volleyball. In her free time, she indulges her passion for music by playing the violin, ukulele, guitar, and piano.
Louis, Tech & Data Support Assistant
Louis currently works as a Tech & Data Support Assistant, where he creates research tools to support the insights team by developing digital versions of surveys and screeners that our Insights Coordinators use in recruiting respondents. Since beginning his career as a virtual assistant in 2019, he has gained experience across several industries including technology, hospitality, marketing, and research. Over the years, he has developed strong skills in project management, data handling, and process improvement. He enjoys finding efficient ways to streamline workflows and ensure that each project is completed smoothly and effectively. Outside of work, Louis stays active by playing volleyball and pickleball, and he has a passion for traveling, discovering new places, cultures, and cuisines that continue to inspire both his personal growth and professional perspective.
Kristine, Coordinator Support Assistants
Kristine is an Administrative Support professional with experience in customer service, email correspondence, and data management. Her past experience includes working with international companies like Royal Caribbean Group and Lufthansa InTouch, assisting clients with their travel needs and ensuring a smooth, positive experience. Known for her organization and reliability, Kristine enjoys supporting teams and keeping operations running efficiently behind the scenes. Outside of work, she loves cooking and traveling—trying out new recipes and exploring different cultures keeps her inspired and energized.
