Josh took over the reigns of RAF from Bette Dyzel in 2009. As a 2nd generation qualitative professional, Josh is committed to his mother's legacy and his family's dedication to their employees, clients and the qualitative research industry. Josh strives to maintain RAF’s position as a creative and forward thinking company. He invests in advanced technology and continuously evaluating new and evolving research tools.
Bette Dyszel was a pioneer in qualitative research and Josh is passionately committed to his team of professionals who operate on the basis of accountability, proactive thinking, and exceptional service. Josh was raised in the qualitative research business and holds a B.A. degree in Business Information Systems, a combination that allows RAF to stay at the forefront of digital platforms.
Josh is married to Jill and they are the parents of two boys. Spending time with his family is a top priority for this young President as well as giving back to his community by collaborating with Jill and helping a variety of local non profit organizations.
Senior Director of Client Services
Kristin kicked off her career in qualitative research recruiting by joining Bette Dyszel in 2003 as a recruiter. She was promoted to Project Manager a few years later. In 2008, She went another direction for 2 years, gaining experience in another area of our industry, and worked in a New York City focus group facility as a project manager serving as primary liaison with clients and participants. She returned to Recruit and Field in October 2010 as a project manager. Kristin's focus for the past 7 years has been on the retention and growth of client relationships. She was promoted to director in 2014 and her responsibilities include leading our team of project managers and recruiters and managing key projects. Kris is a mother to a 14 year old and recently got married. Kristin is actively involved in community groups that fight and educate about anti bullying and domestic violence. She's committed to fitness (kickboxing) and she loves to read fantasy and sci-fi books.
Director of Business Development
Jason Silver’s extensive experience covers over twenty years in the market research industry. From his start in fieldwork to quantitative and qualitative methodologies, Jason’s range of hands-on experience includes screener and questionnaire development, recruiting, consumer insights and analytics, and report writing and recommendations. Jason is also an experienced moderator and interviewer as well as an expert storyteller who fully understands the impact and importance of accurate recruiting to produce actionable research on behalf of his clients. He is also well-versed in traditional and digital qualitative methodologies (focus groups, IDI’s ethnographies, co-creation, online bulletin boards) and has been committed to exploring new technologies that add value to the research process and client experience. Jason’s client portfolio covers B2B and B2C including financial services, retail, CPG, entertainment, gaming, auto, and technology. He has worked extensively with agencies, research suppliers, independent consultants as well as end-clients directly. Jason is married to Rachel and their three young children keep them quite busy outside of the office. You will typically find them spending time outdoors and both Rachel and Jason are active in their local Jewish community as well as raising money and awareness for cancer research.
Jackie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Sacred Heart University. She has over eleven years experience in administrative and project management in the recruiting, finance and telecommunications industries. During her time in the hospitality industry she co-organized and recruited 300 employees for the PGA US Open at Bethpage State Park in NY. Jackie is married to Christopher and they have two boys ages 5 and 9. When she’s not managing recruiting projects, she loves to spend time with her family, travel and fitness. Recently she completed a 5-mile tough mudder course with her 9 year old son. Jackie is a big supporter of childhood fitness to prevent obesity, as well as crisis and suicide prevention.
Recruiting Team Leader
Lavonna has brought to RAF over 10 years of experience in entrepreneurship coupled with hands-on leadership and project management skills. As an experienced recruiter, Lavonna serves as our Recruiting Team Leader and liaison with our project managers, client services, and operations. Lavonna is instrumental in helping us implement our continuous improvements culture and strives to elevate our engagement with respondents as well as ensuring timely completion of projects. Lavonna is a mother to sixteen and eleven year-old boys that keep her quite busy. She is an active member of her community and volunteers for the National Association Of Puerto Rican Hispanic Social Workers (NAPRHSW), Pronto of Long Island, Islip Food for Hope, and Sustainable Long Island.
Tom heads our Information Technology team and brings to Recruit and Field fifteen years of experience in marketing, finances and general management. Throughout his career Tom has seen first-hand the critical importance client data plays in ensuring smart decision-making and customer satisfaction. At RAF, Tom is responsible for data integrity of our large recruiting database, as well as the continuing process of analyzing, identifying and adding new contacts. In his spare time, Tom likes to fish, play hockey (Go New York Rangers) and spend time with his family. Tom passionately supports all causes related to Veterans and honoring his father who is a Vietnam Veteran. Tom also support various Heart Associations after having open heart surgery when he was three years old.
